Bahrain-based Ghanaian attacking forward Daniel Asante has recovered from a Grade 1 hamstring strain injury and could play in Budaiya Club clash with Al-Hidd SCC in the Bahraini Premier League on Friday.

The 25-year-old former New Edubiase frontman, who has been making waves with his side in the top-flight contest, picked up the injury during their game against Sitra Club on March 12.
Confirming his return to training, the prolific goalgetter has exclusively told Kickgh that his main ambitions upon his return is to help his outfit maintain their Premiership status at the end of the current campaign.

''l would like to express my gratitude for having me in granting this interview,'' the forward told Kickgh.com from his base in Bahrain.''For now, my only expectation is to help my current club to a respectable position in the league standings at the end of the season.''
He continued; ''As you can see from the log sheet, our current position isn't encouraging at all and that l have to step up my performances now that l am back from injury in order to give of my all in saving the club from competing in the relegation Play-offs.''

With injury plights hampering his campaign this term, Asante has so far played in 13 games by scoring 6 goals and setting up another 3 for Budaiya Club in this ongoing Bahraini Premier League.
