The German fourth-tier campaigners have abrogated the contract of the 27-year-old midfielder owing to his disciplinary issues in this current campaign
Regionalliga Südwest side TSV Steinbach Haiger have terminated the contract of German-Ghanaian attacking midfielder Michael Guthörl due to his gross misconduct, confirmed club's manager Hüsni Tahiri.
The TSG Hoffenheim II man was released together with his other team-mate at the SIBRE-Sportzentrum Haarwasen Haiger with the current campaign nearing its closure.
Confirming the annulment of their terms with the Ghana-prospect attacker, the man on the touchline at the Steinbach-based club has said as quoted by KICKER: ''Both players [Aaron Manu and Michael Guthörl] are involved in behavior that is damaging to the club and the team. I want to leave it at that. It's about the club's values being trampled on. There are good reasons, and we have decided that the two are no longer with us. It has generally been a strenuous three weeks, and hopefully we have now resolved the problem.''
Before Guthörl was shown the exit door, he took in 20 appearances by netting 4 times and assisting once for TSV Steinbach Haiger across all competitions in this ongoing football season.
The Accra-born native still remains eligible to represent the Ghana national football team on the international stage.
