The German fourth-tier campaigners have abrogated the contract of the 26-year-old defender of Ghanaian descent owing to his disciplinary issues

Regionalliga Südwest side TSV Steinbach Haiger have terminated the contract of German-born Ghanaian defender Aaron Manu due to his gross misconduct, confirmed club's manager Hüsni Tahiri.

The former Rot-Weiss Essen centre-back was released together with his other team-mate at the SIBRE-Sportzentrum Haarwasen Haiger with the current campaign nearing its closure.

Confirming the annulment of their terms with the towering Ghanaian defender, the man on the touchline at the Steinbach-based club has said as quoted by KICKER: ''Both players [Aaron Manu and Michael Guthörl] are involved in behavior that is damaging to the club and the team. I want to leave it at that. It's about the club's values being trampled on. There are good reasons, and we have decided that the two are no longer with us. It has generally been a strenuous three weeks, and hopefully we have now resolved the problem.''

Before Manu was shown the exit door, he took in 12 appearances for TSV Steinbach Haiger across all competitions in this ongoing football season.

Given his Ghanaian heritage, the former FC Nürnberg U19 star remains eligible to represent Ghana at the international level.
