The Turkish giants have confirmed the imminent arrival of the 28-year-old Ghanaian defender, with a three-year deal already in place for his services for next term campaign 

Beşiktaş JK will be unveiling Ghana international centre-back Daniel Armatey this week, according to club's sporting director Ceyhun Kazancı.

The former FC Copenhagen centre-half is currently into the free agency pool after ending his six-and-a-half-year deal with English Championship side Leicester City last season.

Having been linked with several suitors including Scottish giants Rangers, the Black Stars rearguard is set to join the lstanbul-based club on a three-year deal in this summer transfer window.

Sporting director Ceyhun Kazancı has now confirmed that his outfit will be announcing the signing of the 28-year-old together with Russian international Daler Kuzyaev this week, telling a press conference via Fanatik:

"We've made progress on Daler Kuzyaev and Daniel Amartey. Both players will be announced this week. We are trying to complete the transfers."

Before ending his long-term marriage with the King Power Stadium outfit, he made over 106 appearances in the English Premier League since arriving from Denmark in 2016.

Armatey so far has 48 international caps for Ghana at the senior national team level, the Black Stars.
