The former English top-flight outfit are reportedly leading the race to sign the 24-year-old hard-tackling defender from the Swedish top-tier side this summer

Newly promoted Championship club Birmingham City are nearing a deal with Allsvenskan side lF Elfsborg to sign Ghana international centre-back Terry Yegbe in this ongoing transfer window, a report from the Swedish media has indicated.

The former SJK Seinäjoki guardsman is currently a hot commodity among suitors across Europe and he is all set to depart from his current employers given the interest expressed in his services this summer.

Per Swedish tabloid Sport  Expressen, both clubs have held positive talks over the transfer deal, with an amount of €4–6 million including bonuses is expected to be agreed upon between the two parties in the coming days.

Yegbe, who is expected to make a move in this transfer market, has so far featured in 16 games by netting and assisting once for lF Elfsborg in this ongoing Allsvenskan 2025 football season.

He currently boasts of 1 cap with the Ghana Senior Men's National Team, the Black Stars on the international stage.
