The promising teenage sensation of Ghanaian heritage has extended his stay with the Danish second division campaigners as his fresh term is set to run through until 2027
Danish-born Ghanaian teen Emmanuel Aby has signed a two-year contract extension with Danish 1. Division side Hvidovre IF, the club have announced.
After excelling with the U17 youth ranks, The Old Giants have moved quickly to tie him down to a new deal having handed him his first professional contract in 2024 as a budding rising star.
A club's official statement read: ''A year ago, there were big smiles when Emmanuel Aby, also known as Manne, got his trainee contract. The 17-year-old talent had made a positive impression on the U17 team and with his trainee contract in hand, he was now a regular in the first team's training sessions twice a week. A year of hard work and dedication has now paid off, and Manne's trainee contract has now been replaced with a full-time contract.''
The talented centre-forward said to his club's official website right after inking his new deal over extension: ''I've really worked hard for it and I'm incredibly happy for the club's trust in me. It gives me goosebumps, and I'll do everything I can to show the club that it's the right decision,''
Given his magnificent showings with the Hvidovre U19 side, Aby is set to witness more first-team actions with the senior ranks after featuring in 3 games across all competitions so far in this current 2025-26 campaign.
He remains eligible to represent Ghana on the international stage given his Ghanaian heritage.
