Ghanaian young forward Prince Amoako Junior was on the target again for FC Nordsjaelland in their 3-2 away loss to Sonderjyske in the Danish Super Liga on Sunday afternoon.
Amoako Junior, who is tasting top-flight league football for the first time, has been incredible in FC Nordsjaelland's shirt by registering his second goal in the five-goal thriller.
The 18-year-old snatched the equaliser for his side when he brilliantly slotted a pass from his compatriot, Caleb Yerenkyi, past Sonderjyske goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the game.
The home side, Sonderjyske, had taken the lead in the 10th minute through France international Maxime Soulas.
Former Real Mallorca striker Matthew Hoppe restored the lead for Sonderjyske in the 69th minute before their lead was extended by Mohamed Cherif in the 90+4 minutes.
A 90+9 minute goal from experienced Danish defender Tobias Salquist wasn't enough to earn FC Nordsjaelland a point at the Sydbank Park, as it ended in a 3-2 win for the home side.
Amoako Junior enjoyed 80 minutes of the game action, while Caleb Yerenkyi lasted for the entire duration of the game. Stephen Acquah was introduced in the 80th as a replacement for Noah Markmann.
The budding talented forward has now been directly involved in three goals [2 goals, 1 assist] in three games at FC Nordsjaelland since arriving from Right to Dream Academy ahead of the 2025-26 season's campaign.
Amoako Junior is yet to earn a call-up to play for Ghana at any level.
