Bundesliga club RB Leipzig are interested in signing London-born Ghanaian budding star Tyrique George from Premier League heavyweights Chelsea, an emerging report has indicated.
The 19-year-old, who happens to be an academy graduate of the Stamford Bridge outfit, could sever ties with his boyhood club in this current window given his lack of game time at the West London club.
According to ltalian journalist and transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, the German outfit have enquired about the availability of the talented teenager as they bid to reinforce their forward line options with his acquisition ahead of the upcoming football season.
The report added that, fellow Bundesliga top-flight rivals Borussia Monchengladbach are also keeping tabs on the Ghana-prospect winger.
Nonetheless, it's understood that Chelsea are hell-bent on keeping him beyond this summer but could lose him to suitors given his eagerness for first-team actions as a youngster.
Those vying for his services must splash an amount of €10.00m on his head if they are to secure his signature this summer as per his transfermarkt valuation, with his deal set to expire in June 2027.
Having played for the England national youth teams so far, George is still eligible to play for Ghana, Nigeria and England at the senior level on the international stage.
