Black Stars defender, Abdul Mumin has been named Rayo Vallecano's player of the month for September following his outstanding display for the club in the period considered.
The 26-year-old has always been amazing since switching to the Vallecas-based side and the ongoing campaign has been of no exception.
Mumin, after fan voting and others, has been tipped as the club's best player in the previous month having played a vital role to help his club record an unbeaten run in the month under review.
His only goal this season came in the same period in a 3-1 win over Osasuna- a spectacular powerful hit that earned him La Liga goal of the month of September prize as well.
Abdul Mumin after clinching the accolade above players like James Rodriguez, goalkeeper Augusto Batalla and others, is hoping to continue living up to the height as the season progresses.
He will hope for another starting berth when they welcome Deportivo Alavés in the next round of matches.
