BLACK STARS-target Noah Nartey has been nominated for Ligue 1 Young Talent of the Month award for the month of  February.

The talented attacking midfielder, who linked up with Lyon from Danish outfit Brøndby IF during the January transfer window, has gotten off to a flying start at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais, with such stupendous displays already earning him individual recognition in the French elite division.

Nartey is set to slug it out against Cameroon and Stade Rennes left-back Mahamadou Nagiba and France and AJ Auxerre winger Kevin Danois for the individual award.

The budding Ghana-prospect midfielder has so far taken in 6 appearances by netting 2 times and assisting 1 for Lyon in this current 2025-26 football season.

Following his pursuit by the Ghana FA ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the 20-year-old addressed the situation in an interview with TIPSBLADET: ''Of course there is something with Ghana, and there has also been contact. But what I am focused on is playing for Denmark and qualifying for a very important and great European Championship.'' He added: ''It is Denmark that I have represented my entire life, and it is them that I will continue to represent.''
