The English Second-Tier outfit have reportedly tabled a bid for the Ghanaian forward in an effort to land him in this ongoing January transfer window

English Championship side Blackburn Rovers have tabled an offer of £1.75m for the services of Ghana's striker Brandon Thomas-Asante, according to reports from the English media.

The 26-year-old, currently on the books of fellow lower division side Coventry City FC, has emerged as a transfer target for the former Premier League campaigners having resigned on missing out on their Southampton's forward transfer target Ben Brereton Diaz who is keen to join league rivals Sheffield United this January.

Sky Sports have indicated that the former West Brom frontman remains a top priority for the Ewood Park campaigners and are hell-bent on securing his services to augment their forward line options this winter.

lt remains to be seen if his employers will accept the aforementioned figures in order to sanction the transfer deal with his current suitors as his deal is set to expire in June 2028.

He has so far netted 1 goal and assisted 1 in 25 league game appearances for Coventry City in this 2024-25 English Championship season.

Asante currently boasts of one cap for Ghana at the international level since switching nationality allegiance to represent the west African powerhouse.
