Ghanaian forward Brandon Thomas-Asante continued his impressive EFL Championship form with a composed finish in Coventry City FC’s 3-0 home victory over Preston North End at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
Playing in the No.10 role, Thomas-Asante doubled the hosts’ advantage in the 34th minute after Tatsuhiro Sakamoto’s early opener, confidently slotting home from inside the box.
Coventry extended their lead with a 50th-minute penalty converted by Matt Grimes, putting the game beyond Preston’s reach.
The Ghanaian attacker now has 11 goals and 4 assists in 24 Championship appearances this season, cementing his status as one of the league’s in-form forwards.
The win keeps Coventry City FC firmly in the promotion hunt as they prepare to host Southampton FC at home on Saturday, March 14.
