The talented teenage sensation of Ghanaian heritage was magnificent for his side despite their heavy away defeat to the Black Cats reserve side at the Eppleton Colliery Welfare Ground on Monday 

ltalian-born Ghanaian starlet Kenneth John Mensah played a part in Leeds United U21 5-2 defeat to Sunderland U21 in the Premier League 2.

The 17-year-old budding star, who is currently stirring for Leeds United U18 in the U18 Premier League, has consistently been drafted into the reserve side of the Elland Road outfit having elevated himself among his peers so far this term.

Despite his side's drubbing against their opponent on Monday, Mensah was splendid with his individual qualities on the field of play as he witnessed 62 minutes of game actions during the encounter.

He has so far taken in 20 appearances by netting 5 times and setting up another 1 for Leeds United across all competitions in this current English Youth Leagues.

Born and bred to Ghanaian parents in ltaly, the promising rising star will now be closely monitored by the west African powerhouse in a bid to secure his nationality allegiance switch in the near future. He has so far featured for the ltaly U16 national youth team.
