English Championship side Coventry City FC have named Chelsea legend Frank Lampard as their new head coach in the ongoing 2024/25 football campaign.
The Sky Blues weeks ago parted ways with former manager Mark Robins after seven years following his sloppy start in the ongoing campaign.
Coventry City have just four wins, five draws and eight loses from their opening seventeen league games and are hoping to turn things around very soon as they currently sit on the 17th position with 17 points.
With this, Frank Lampard has been appointed to fill the vacant coaching role and has agreed to sign a two and half year deal which will keep him at the club until the winter of 2027.
Brandon Thomas-Asante currently has a goal and assist from sixteen matches and will hope to improve by getting much playing time under the new technical direction and also better his numbers going forward.
Frank Lampard's first game is against Cardiff City at the Building Society Arena at 15:00GMT on Saturday, November 30, 2025.
