The Stade Francis-Le Blé outfit has expressed interest in securing the wantaway midfielder on a season-long loan deal from RC Lens.

Stade Brestois are considering a loan move for Ghana international Salis Abdul Samed from French Ligue 1 rivals in the ongoing summer transfer window.

Abdul Samed has been declared surplus to requirements by the RC Lens technical team led by manager Will Still and is currently training with the club's reserve side.

Kickgh.com earlier reported that the career of the Black Stars midfielder is ebbing at the French outfit, and they are looking forward to offloading him this summer.

Given his torrid times, the man in charge of the Stade Bollaert-Delelis has said he has pushed the duo to the lower ranks as they are not part of his plans this term.

However, Stade Brestois, who are in the transfer market to bolster their midfield before the deadline day, has commenced discussions with RC Lens for the possible acquisition of the 24-year-old on loan for the 2024–25 season's campaign.

It was reported that French Ligue 1 duo Montpellier HSC and AS Saint-Étienne were pushing for his signature, but they have ended the pursuit.

Abdul Samed's current contract with RC Lens will expire in June 2028, and per his transfermarkt valuation, suitors must table an amount of €8 million if they are to land him permanently this summer.
