Ghana winger Christia Atsu netted his first goal in the Turkish Süper Lig as he came off the bench to score Hatayspor's only goal (1-0) against Kasımpaşa on Sunday at the New Hatay Stadium.
Hatayspor gaffer Volkan Demirel decided to throw on his mercurial winger for the last seven minutes of the game.
Atsu, 31, replaced Cape Verde striker Zé Luís in the 82nd minute and registered his name on the scoresheet during the dying embers (90+7' minute).
He lusciously scored from a freekick - right outside the box to make sure all three points never crossed the gates of the New Hatay Stadium.
Atsu's return to full-fledged form will be most welcome at the Star of the South with Demirel's side having looked shabbily in front of goal as they are now off the relegation ladder (14th with 23 points).
