West Ham United boss, David Moyes has expressed satisfaction and lauded the performance of Ghanaian international Kudus Mohammed against Arsenal last night in the Carabao Cup.
The Hammers booked a place in the last eight of the EFL Cup after humbling the Gunners by 3-1 at the London Olympic Stadium and will now square off with Liverpool next.
Ben White tapping into his own net in just sixteen minutes from kickoff was the game's opener.
Kudus Mohammed controlled a beautiful long pass from Morocco's Nayef Aguerd and nicely plotted into the bottom corner to double the lead on the 50th minute for the hosts.
Before Jarrod Bowen ten minutes on, scored the third and their last with captain Martin Ødegaard pulling one back for the visitors in the dying embers.
Kudus Mohammed has now scored in the Premier League, Europa League and now the EFL Cup since joining the East-Londoners and has already expressed elation and aims at winning the Carabao Cup.
Reacting to the win, David Moyes describe Kudus goal as a great one and was overly impressed with the entire team performance.
"Mo [Mohammed Kudus] scored a great goal. It’s a lovely pass from Nayef and a great touch and finish from Mo," David Moyes said after the game
“Mo is on a couple of goals and Jarrod has been getting goals too. We’ve got a few goals tonight.”
West Ham United will face Brentford in their next game on Saturday, November 4, at the Gtech Community Stadium in match-week 11 of the English Premier League.
