Ghana international Mohammed Kudus was awarded the Man of the Match title in the match against Arsenal.
The 23-year-old made his first start for West Ham on Wednesday, and they secured a 3-1 victory over Mikel Arteta's side, advancing to the quarterfinals of the competition.
During the first half, Arsenal's Ben White unintentionally scored an own goal. In the second half, Mohammed Kudus netted a splendid goal in the 50th minute, and Jarrod Bowen sealed the victory with a stunning strike in the 60th minute.
Following the game, the former Ajax star was named West Ham United's Man of the Match. Kudus and his teammates are now set to face Liverpool in the Carabao Cup quarterfinals.
Mohammed Kudus has made 12 appearances for West Ham United in various competitions, scoring four goals.
The team will shift their focus to their upcoming Premier League match against Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday.
