Ghanaian forward Deabeas Owusu-Sekyere found the back of the net for Zhejiang Professional, but his goal wasn't enough to prevent a 3-2 defeat against Tianjin Jinmen Tiger in the Chinese Super League.

The Dutch-born Ghanaian was substituted in stoppage time as his team fell short at the TEDA Football Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Despite his efforts, Zhejiang Professional couldn't secure the three points.

The match saw Italy international Andrea Compagno put Tianjin Jinmen Tiger in control with two goals in the 27th and 39th minutes, giving the home side a 2-0 lead heading into halftime.

After the break, Zhejiang Professional responded with a goal from Leonardo in the 61st minute. However, Tianjin quickly restored their two-goal cushion just two minutes later with a strike from Albion Adem.

Owusu-Sekyere managed to reduce the deficit in the 65th minute, scoring his ninth goal of the season, but it wasn't enough as the match ended 3-2 in favor of the hosts.

The 24-year-old forward has now tallied 9 goals and 2 assists in the ongoing Chinese Super League campaign, continuing to be a key player for his team despite the defeat.
