Ghanaian teenager Fatawu Ganiwu starred for Chelsea Under-18 side when they clashed with Manchester United Under-18 team on Saturday.
The defensive midfielder has already featured in some matches with Chelsea’s youth teams since his trial started.
The 16-year-old is one of the most sought-after players on the local scene and was part of Ghana’s Under-16 team that toured Europe last year.
Recently he played in Chelsea's Under-18s 1-1 draw against Sheffield United.
Ganiwu is hoping to secure a deal with the Blues, having previously undergone trials with French side RC Lens and Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig, where he featured for their youth team during a tournament in Brazil.
Should Chelsea hand him a contract, though, he would likely be farmed out on loan to gain experience and game time.
