Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahçe will fight until the end for the league title, proclaimed Ghana international centre-back Alexander Djiku.
The 30-year-old former RC Strasbourg Alsace defender is oozing with confidence The Yellow Canaries will give their sworn-rivals a run for their money in chasing the league title in this current campaign.
After playing out to a 0-0 draw game against Galatasaray on Monday, the hard-tackling defender believes his side have it all to play for in fighting for the elite division diadem as they currently trail their sworn-rivals by 6 points in the league standings so far this season.
''We started the match well as we showed our rhythm. We scored a goal but it was disallowed due to a foul and continued our game. We couldn't find the goal that would've given us the three points at the end of the game. We will fight until the end as nothing is over! We want to get the best results in the next month,'' he said after the match.
Djiku has so far featured in 28 games across all competitions for Fenerbahçe in this ongoing 2024-25 Turkish Super Lig football campaign.
He currently boasts of 31 caps for Ghana Senior Men's National Team, the Black Stars on the international stage.
