Ghanaian budding centre-back Rufai Mohammed has joined Allsvenskan side IFK Värnamo from IF Elfsborg on a loan deal, the club have confirmed.
The former lnter Allies lanky stopper, who had an unsuccessful trials with newly-promoted Allsvenskan side Östers IF, is now set to spent the upcoming football season with the Finnvedsvallen Stadium campaigners in the Swedish top division contest.
An official confirmation over the loan deal of the ex-Ghana U17 defender read via the club's official website: ''IFK Värnamo has agreed with IF Elfsborg on a loan for center back Rufai Mohammed.''
''18-year-old defender Rufai Mohammed joined IF Elfsborg in the spring of 2024 from Inter Allies FC in Ghana. He has several international caps for the Ghana U17 national team. He will immediately join IFK Värnamo and will play with number 4 on his back.''
Rufai has failed to make his mark at IF Elfsborg since his transfer move from Ghanaian Division Two League side Inter Allies Football Club in 2024.
