English National League South club Billericay Town FC have announced the signing of Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Paul Appiah for the 2026/27 season.
The promising centre-back is bonding with The Blues outfit on a free transfer after last playing for fellow league rivals Chelmsford City in the English lowly division in 2025.
Announcing the acquisition of the Chelsea academy youth star's signature, those utilising the New Lodge Stadium as their favourite match venue have said across their social media handles, with a statement from their lnstagram Handle reading as; ''We are pleased to announce the signing of defender Paul Appiah! Paul joins with experience at Maidstone, Chelmsford and Enfield Town.''
Given his Ghanaian heritage, the Netherlands-born native defender remains qualified to switch international allegiances and represent the Ghana senior national team, the Black Stars.
