The former Club Africain frontman has sealed his move to the Libyan elite division campaigners in this current football campaign

Libyan Premier League club Al-Sadaqa FC have announced the signing of Ghanaian centre-forward Derrick Sasraku  for the 2026/27 season.

The 32-year-old experienced goal poacher is linking up with the Shahat-based club from Iraqi Second Division League side Naft Al-Wassat SC this summer.

An official statement confirming the capture of the former Ghana U23 youth star read: ''A bus experience in the African and Arab stadiums, outstanding figures in his last stop in the Libyan league with 8 goals and 3 assists. Ghanaian striker Derrick Sasraku leads our first team attack this season.''

The 1.86 metre tall striker, who made his mark in the Ghana Premier League with Aduana Stars, is teaming up with the Libyan outfit on the back of a valuable experience across Europe, Africa and the Middle East, with spells at KF Tirana, Saham Club, Muscat Club, Malut United, Al-Shomooa SC, Al-Dhahra SC and Naft Al-Wassat SC already enjoyed so far in his football career at club level.

He becomes the second Ghanaian player to join the Libyan top-flight club after former Ghana U17 star lbrahim Sulley completing his move early on.
