The promising teenager of Ghanaian descent, who is now living his dream in plying his trade at the Amsterdam-based club, is full of admiration for his fellow compatriot given his level of success with the Dutch giants as a youth star so far

Dutch-born Ghanaian starlet Denzel Darko has hailed his team-mate of Ghanaian heritage Pharell Nash at Eredivisie heavyweights Ajax.

The 16-year-old, who is currently stirring with the Ajax U17 in the U17 Division 1 Case contest, is role modeling the 18-yearold teenage sensation following his smooth transition from the youth ranks to the Jong Ajax team having savoured first-team actions in this current campaign.

Darko, whose everlasting dream of playing for Ajax since infancy, has revealed that Nash often gives him advice by guiding him to keep both feet on the ground as he continues with his development as a rising star at Aajx.

Speaking in an interview, the talented budding starlet said of his fellow Ghana-prospect winger to AJAXSHOWTIME:'When I see how hard he [Pharell Nash] kept working after the Future Cup… He has always remained very level-headed, and you can see how well that has worked for him. He trains hard and is basically always positive. He also often gives me advice, and that is nice. He also helps me keep both feet on the ground.''

He is currently with the Ajax U17 team featuring in the just commenced 2026 Future Cup tournament at the Sportpark de Toekomst in Netherlands.

Given his glaring talent, the Ghana FA technical team would now be compelled to monitor his progress at Ajax for future call-up on the international stage having played for the Netherlands U15 national youth team.
