Ghana international Yaw Yeboah was the hero for Qingdao Hainiu, scoring the lone goal in a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Henan FC in the Chinese Super League on Saturday.
The former Black Stars winger played the full 90 minutes at the Qingdao Youth Football Stadium, helping his side secure all three points in a tightly contested encounter.
Both teams produced an energetic first half but were unable to break the deadlock, heading into halftime 0-0. The breakthrough came in the 60th minute, when Yeboah rose to the occasion and scored the decisive goal.
The 29-year-old winger continues to make a strong impact since his move to China, netting two goals in four league appearances this season. Yeboah joined Qingdao Hainiu at the start of the 2026 campaign in February and has quickly become a pivotal figure in the team.
With this win, Qingdao Hainiu climbs the table as Yeboah continues to shine in the Chinese top flight.
