The forward of Ghanaian origin and the English lowly division outfit are going their separate ways after being together for some short period of time

English Isthmian League North Division club Cambridge City FC have parted ways with England-born Ghanaian forward Charles Brown-Bampoe for the just commenced 2026/27 football season.

The prolific striker linked up with The Lilywhites during the summer transfer window of 2026 from fellow league rivals Redbridge Football Club after bagging 8 goals in 10 appearances last season.

Announcing the departure of the attacking forward, those utilising the Sawston Community Stadium have said via their micro-blogging platforms, with a statement on their lnstagram Handle reading as; ''Charles Brown-Bampoe has left the Lilywhites today. We’d like to thank Charles for all his efforts during his time with us and we wish him all the very best for the future.''

Given his vast experience in the English lower-tier contests, the Ghana-prospect wing-forward would not be short of potential suitors this summer following his productive spell at Enfield Town FC.

Brown-Bampoe remains qualified to represent Ghana at the senior level on the international stage.
