The teenage sensation of Ghanaian descent has been on fine form with an outstanding performance for The Fishermen since the commencement of the English Youth Cup competition this season

England-born Ghanaian teenager Fawaz Junaid is currently enjoying a sparkling form with English League Two club Fleetwood Town U18 in the 2026/27 FA Youth Challenge Cup.

The 16-year-old promising rising starlet, who swapped EFL Championship side West Bromwich Albion Youth team for the Fleetwood Town U18 in the summer of 2025, has been magnificent in the just-started English annual knockout football competition so far this season.

With his impressive start to the new campaign this term, the Ghana-prospect budding centre-forward could be courted by the Premier League titans including Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City for their football academy system in the next summer window.

Fawaz has so far helped The Town U18 setup to progress to the next round of the competition after scoring once in 2 game appearances in the current 26/27 FA Youth Cup.

Given his glaring talent as an upcoming promising youth football player, the England-born native attacking forward could become the brightest prospect for the Ghana national football team at the senior level on the international stage given his Ghanaian parentage.
