The in-form Black Stars attacking midfielder is confident of his side clinching a sweet victory over SC Braga in the UEFA Europa League this evening.
IF Elfsborg forward Michael Baidoo has said he and his teammates will exercise their attacking muscles to score more goals to secure a win at home against the Portuguese side in tonight's game.
The Swedish Allsvenskan campaigners will be hosting SC Braga in the UEFA Europa League match-day four fixture at the Boraas Arena.
Baidoo, in a pre-match press conference, said the Yellow and Black lads will leave no stone unturned in this evening fixture, despite SC Braga being an offensive team in the Portuguese top-flight league and the Europa League.
“They are very good offensively, so we have to watch out for their talented players going forward. But we are the ones playing at home, and we want to play offensive football and show that we can score goals. It will be required that we have a good balance in the team,” the Ghanaian international told IF Elfsborg's official website in an interview.
“We have to be focused from the moment the match starts. We will follow the game plan that the coaches set up and try to get three points.”
The 25-year-old also stressed that their last two wins in the Swedish Allsvenskan are a massive boost for the team ahead of the Europa League game against SC Braga.
“A good feeling before the match. We've got two wins now in the last week; take a positive feeling from that, and look forward to going out and playing in front of the supporters.”
Baidoo has been a standout performer with his scoring prowess, helping IF Elfsborg sail through the Europa League qualification playoffs through to the league phase.
He has scored five goals and provided three assists in 11 appearances for the Swedish outfit in the 2024/25 Europa League so far.
Baidoo has been included in Ghana's squad list for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola and Niger later this month.
