Ghanaian international Prince Kwabena Adu showcased his goal-scoring prowess for FC Kryvbas in their 2-1 defeat to FC Viktoria Plzeň during Thursday night's Europa League qualification match.
Adu, who started for Kryvbas in the first leg of the qualification tie, opened the scoring with a well-taken goal just 20 minutes into the match.
The goal, assisted by Cameroonian defender Ivan Dibango, gave Kryvbas an early lead. However, their advantage was short-lived.
Viktoria Plzeň responded strongly in the second half, with Jiri Panos and Daniel Vasulin both finding the back of the net to overturn the deficit, ultimately securing a 2-1 victory for the Czech side.
Despite Adu's impressive performance, his goal wasn't enough to secure a win for Kryvbas.
The Ghanaian forward played 81 minutes of the contest before being substituted.
