The hugely-talented attacking midfielder is reportedly on the verge on sealing a move to the English Premier League this summer.
English Premier League side Everton are in advanced talks to secure the signature of Ghana international Kudus Mohammed from Ajax in the ongoing summer transfer window.
According to UK tabloid Football Insider, Everton are in pole position of completing the acquisition of the 22-year-old from the Dutch Eredivisie giants following ‘advanced negotiations’ on Friday.
Everton are in the market for attacking reinforcements having lost Richarlison to Tottenham ahead of the 2022/23 season.
Kudus Mohammed, who is rated among the best youngsters in European football, is currently struggling with playing time at Ajax Amsterdam.
He started Ajax’s opening two games this season on the bench and they have indicated they are willing to let him go ahead of the 31 August transfer cut-off.
Kudus joined Ajax in the summer of 2020 from Danish SuperLiga side FC Nordsjaelland and has now made 45 total appearances for the club.
