Former Black Stars striker Kwesi Appiah has capped off an impressive season at English club Boreham Wood by winning three major individual awards following the team’s promotion to the National League.

The 34-year-old forward was pivotal throughout the campaign, earning the Players’ Player of the Season award in recognition of his influence on the pitch. Appiah also won the Supporters’ Player of the Year and secured the Golden Boot as the team’s top scorer.

Appiah’s remarkable goal-scoring form saw him net 24 goals in 35 appearances, including two hat-tricks, making him the key attacking force behind Boreham Wood’s successful campaign.

The ex-Crystal Palace and Crawley Town striker’s outstanding displays have won him the admiration of Boreham Wood fans, who are eager to see him continue his journey with the club.

In a celebratory post on social media, Appiah wrote:
“Promotion! Players’ Player of the Season, Supporters’ Player of the Season, Top Goal Scorer. Honoured. Humbled. Now it’s time to rest, reset, and prepare for the next challenge. The journey continues!”

Appiah, who was a standout at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations and helped Ghana secure a silver medal, will now set his sights on pushing Boreham Wood toward League One promotion next season.
