Turkish side Trabzonspor have joined the race to sign Ghanaian sensation Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, who has already popped up on the wish-list of series of clubs.

The 22-year-old winger has emerged as a top transfer target after an impressive campaign, where he registered nine goals and seven assists despite the club’s struggles.

His performances have attracted the attention of series of clubs across Europe, with Premier League suitors; Everton, Sunderland and Leeds United all current gunning for his signature, with Trabzonspor being the latest side to join his race over his potential signing in the summer.

Fatawu remains under contract with the Foxes until 2029, but the club’s drop to League One has intensified speculation over his future, as several clubs look to take advantage of the situation.

The mercurial winger is regarded as one of the brightest young talents, and a move away from Leicester could offer him the opportunity to continue competing at the highest level.

Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has been outstanding this season and is expected to make the Black Stars’ final squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
