Scottish-based goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott has made a return to the Black Stars having stayed out for sometime now due to injury.
After finally recovering from the hamstring tear he suffered during Hibernian's preseason in July, he's finally recovered fully and has been added to Chris Hughton's squad for games against Madagascar and Comoros in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
He's been at the bench for the Hibees in their previous two matches and will look to return into the starting line up as soon as possible.
He comes in to take the place of Belgian-based Abdul Manaf Nurudeen and is alongside Lawrence Ati-Zigi and Richard Ofori, and will definitely have to put in extra efforts to command back the first-choice spot.
Ghana will take on Madagascar in their opening game of the qualifiers on Friday, November 17, at the Baba Yara Stadium before they travel to play Comoros in Moroni on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.
