Former Black Stars goalkeeper Razak Brimah has signed with Spanish fourth-tier club CD Calahorra on a deal that runs until the end of the 2024/25 season.
The 37-year-old Ghanaian shot-stopper, who joined as a free agent, brings a wealth of experience to the club as they aim for promotion to the third tier. Brimah, currently without match action this season, will face the challenge of earning the first-choice spot in the squad.
A seasoned professional, Brimah has spent much of his career in Spain, featuring for clubs like Córdoba, Tenerife, and Linares. His only stint outside Spain came with South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns during the 2017/18 season.
On the international stage, Brimah has 27 caps for the Black Stars, representing Ghana at the 2015 and 2017 Africa Cup of Nations. He played a pivotal role in helping Ghana secure a runner-up finish in 2015 and a fourth-place position in 2017.
