The German second division outfit are eyeing the Ghanaian attacking midfielder in an effort to land him from his mother club in this winter transfer window

German 2. Bundesliga side Fortuna Düsseldorf are reportedly interested in acquiring the services of Ghanaian attacking midfielder Moritz-Broni Kwarteng from Bundesliga outfit VfL Bochum.

The Fortunen are currently planning without their German U-21 international winger Felix Klaus and have set sights on the 26-year-old former Hamburger SV man as his ideal replacement for the rest of the current campaign.

It's understood that the German top-flight campaigners' manager Dieter Hecking is not counting on Kwarteng and is ready to move him on to suitors in this January transfer window.

Kwarteng has so far featured in 7 league games for VfL Bochum in this ongoing Bundesliga football season.

Given his Ghanaian heritage, the German-born attacker still remains eligible to switch allegiance and represent Ghana on the international stage
