The talented teenager of Ghanaian heritage has been transferred to the Craven Cottage Stadium outfit on a permanent deal by Chelsea FC.

Fulham have reached an agreement with city-rivals Chelsea FC over the signing of English-born Ghanaian winger Tyrique George on the 2025-26 summer transfer deadline day.

According to the Athletic, the package for George is worth £22million plus a sell-on clause and Fulham have terms in place with the Chelsea academy graduate on a five-year deal with a medical to follow.

The 19-year-old made his first appearance of the season on Saturday as a first-half substitute following Liam Delap’s injury, and was later withdrawn for Andrey Santos. He signed a new contract with Chelsea in June 2024 which runs until the summer of 2027.

The teenage sensation enjoyed a breakout 2024-25 under Enzo Maresca, featuring 26 times in all competitions and scoring three goals. He played in every game of Chelsea’s Conference League campaign, except the final against Real Betis.

George joined Chelsea at under-8 level and has progressed through the ranks.

He was part of the Chelsea's team which won the Under-18 Premier League South title in 2023-24 and has been capped by England and he has been named in Lee Carsley’s Under-21 squad for the coming international break.

Having played for the England national youth teams so far, George is still eligible to play for Ghana, Nigeria and England at the senior level on the international stage.
