The 26-year-old defender has emerged as a strong transfer target for the Turkish top-flight outfit as they bid to reinforce their defensive line options with his capturing next term

Galatasaray are plotting a move to sign Ghana international centre-back Mohammed Salisu from French Ligue 1 side AS Monaco, a report from the French media has stated.

The former Southampton defender is believed to be keen on a move to suitors this summer and could link up with the current Turkish league holders given his quest to part ways with his employers in the next transfer market.

Per French newspaper L'Equipe, Galatasaray are hell-bent on landing the ex-Real Valladolid hard-tackling defender although they are yet to make an official approach for his services this summer.

lt's understood that Salisu is unhappy with his current situation at the Ligue 1 outfit following his lack of game time and he is open to a move elsewhere as his current deal is set to come to a close on June 30, 2028.

He figured in 24 games for the Stade Louis II campaigners across all competitions in the recently concluded 2024-25 campaign.

He is so far boasting of 13 caps with the Ghana Senior Men's National Team on the international stage with 2 goals to his name.
