The 23-year-old midfielder of Ghanaian heritage has completed his switch to the fifth-tier campaigners from the fourth division club ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window

German-born Ghanaian midfielder Wycliff Yeboah has joined Oberliga Baden-Württemberg club SSV Reutlingen 05 for the 2026/27 football season, the club have confirmed.

The midfield enforcer is joining up with Die Nullfünfer on a free transfer after leaving Regionalliga Südwest side FC Astoria Walldorf at the end of the just ended campaign.

A statement confirming the capturing of the Ghana-prospect midfielder read: ''SSV Reutlingen 05 will strengthen their squad for the upcoming season with the signing of Wycliff Yeboah. The 23-year-old attacking winger will transfer from the regional league club FC-Astoria Walldorf to the Kreuzeiche stadium.

''Yeboah was developed in the youth academies of Stuttgarter Kickers and TSG Hoffenheim. The speedy attacking player first attracted attention with his pace, dynamism, and goal threat while playing for 1. CfR Pforzheim. Most recently, Yeboah was under contract with FC-Astoria Walldorf in the Regionalliga (fourth tier). With this signing, SSV Reutlingen 05 continues its ongoing squad overhaul, strategically adding pace and quality to its attacking lineup.''

Right after putting pen paper, Yeboah had this to tell his club's official website: ''We had very good talks from the start, and I immediately realized that this club is a perfect fit for me. The concept, the clear vision, and above all, the passion surrounding the club completely convinced me. The fans create a special atmosphere here, and that's what football is all about. I'm coming with high expectations because we have an extremely strong squad and definitely have to aim to compete at the very top. I want to do my part to ensure that we are successful as a team and achieve something great together. My goal is clear: first place and promotion. I will give everything to achieve that."

Sporting director Christian Grießer added: ''Wycliff is young, agile, and a real whirlwind on the wing. These are exactly the types of players you need to decide games in one-on-one situations and create danger in attack. We are delighted that he will be playing for SSV in the future."

Given his Ghanaian heritage, the Stuttgart-born native remains fit to switch nationality and represent the Ghana national football team on the international stage as he once affirmed his aspiration to feature for the four-time African champions.
