The 19-year-old defender of Ghanaian heritage and Die Rothosen are going their separate ways this summer after spending time together for four seasons in the German football competitions 

Bundesliga side Hamburger SV have announced the departure of German-born Ghanaian teenage defender Jamal Kwabena Hube ahead of the start of the new football season.

The 19-year-old left-back, who joined up with the Hamburger SV Youth setup at age 16 in 2022, failed to progress to the first-team after passing through the entire academy youth ranks to the Hamburger SV ll in his footballing career so far.

With his lack of progress at the Volksparkstadion, those managing the administrative affairs of the club have decided to end their four-year marriage with the Ghana-prospect lateral defender ahead of the expiration of his current contract which is set to expire on June 30, 2026.

The German outfit took to their micro-blogging platform lnstagram to announce the departure of the 19-year-old rising star together with his thirteen other team-mates at the youth level.

The left-footed youngster would not be short of offers from potential suitors in the upcoming summer transfer window given his youthful age.

Given his Ghanaian heritage, the Flensburg-born native still remains eligible to switch nationality and represent the Ghana national football team at the senior level on the international stage.
