The 20-year-old talented winger of Ghanaian heritage has sealed his move to the German sixth-tier club from his boyhood club until the end of the current campaign
German-born Ghanaian youngster Divine Boafo has joined Westfalenliga club SV Schermbeck from 2. Bundesliga side VfL Bochum on a six-month contract.
The ex-Rot-Weiss Essen youth star joins the Volksbankarena campaigners on a free transfer after leaving his long-time side in this January transfer window.
Boafo, who passed through the academy ranks of VfL Bochum, has already begun his new journey with his current employers having taken in some minutes in their pre-season friendlies ahead of the start of the new football season.
Given his Ghanaian heritage, the nimble left-footed budding star remains fit to switch nationality allegiance by representing Ghana on the international stage.
