The 20-year-old talented forward of Ghanaian descent has completed his transfer move to the German fourth-tier side in this ongoing winter transfer window

German-born Ghanaian youngster Ohene Köhl has joined German Regionalliga Nord IV side  FC Eintracht Norderstedt from Hamburger SV, the club have confirmed.

The former RB Leipzig U-19 youth man is linking up with the Edmund-Plambeck-Stadion outfit together with German national youth star Niklas Petzsch this January.

A statement confirming the arrival of the duo by sporting director Frank Spitzer read via his club's official website: ''Both new signings have a lot of potential. We hope, of course, that they will bring that onto the field for us in the next 13 games, take the next step in their development and become a clear reinforcement for us. " The season so far has not gone particularly well for either of the boys. But that was precisely the opportunity for us to get hold of such talent in the current situation, because the boys want to prove themselves here and help us stay in the league. It's a win/win situation for everyone involved ."

The capturing of the Ghanaian centre-forward and his playing mate will be a morale booster for the German lower division side as they are expected to add more bites to their set-up in a bid to avoid the drop at the end of the 2024-25 football season.

Before joining FC Eintracht Norderstedt, he figured in 10 league games for Hamburger SV ll in this current Regionalliga Nord campaign.

Given his Ghanaian heritage, Ohene remains eligible to switch nationality allegiance to play for Ghana at the international level as he's yet to be cap-tied by the Germany senior national team.
