Georgian powerhouse Dinamo Tbilisi have completed the signing of Ghana international Benson Anang on a one-year contract.
The dependable right-back made the switch in the ongoing transfer window following his departure from Cypriot side Othellos Athienou FC this summer.
Dinamo Tbilisi will be looking to mount a trophy-winning spree in the Georgian league, having finished second last season and the Labadi indegene may have a big role to play in the 2024/25 season.
Anang, 24, made his debut with the Black Stars of Ghana in a friendly 5–0 win over Qatar on 12 October 2020, which he fully throttled in that match. He has since gone ahead to feature in three games for the Black Stars.
He first moved to Europe in 2018, joining Slovakia outfit MŠK Žilina from their feeder club in Ghana based in Labadi' MŠK Žilina Africa and spent five years at the club before leaving to Othellos Athienou in Cyprus.
However, after just a season with Othellos Athienou, he made a switch to Georgia to join the Blue-White. He made his debut for the club in their match against Samgulari in the Georgian Erovnuli Liga, which is Georgia's top-flight league.
