Ghanaian striker Calen Ekuban has committed to another term with Italian club Genoa after his previous contract expired.
Ekuban, who initially joined Genoa in 2021, has signed a two-year extension with an option for an additional year.
After transferring from Trabzonspor, Ekuban has established himself as an essential player for Genoa, significantly contributing to the team's 11th-place finish in Serie A last season.
Genoa confirmed Ekuban's continued presence through their official X account, sharing a video showcasing some of his goals and the message: "Eku stays."
The 30-year-old forward scored four goals and provided three assists in 29 matches last season, primarily playing as a left winger.
With three goals in 13 appearances for the Black Stars, Ekuban is set to join his teammates for pre-season training next month.
