The 27-year-old guardsman has returned to his parent club following an unsuccessful loan stint with the Swiss top-flight campaigners in the just ended season

Ghana international centre-back Kasim Adams has been released by Swiss Super League side FC Basel and will return to his Bundesliga outfit TSG Hoffenheim.

The Basel-based club had the option to make the loan deal of the  former RCD Mallorca defender permanent, but has now decided to back off as he  could not live up to his billings during his loan spell.

Kasim has struggled to establish himself as a first-teamer in the set-up of the German outfit since making his transfer move  to the Rhein-Neckar-Arena in 2018.

His current deal with TSG Hoffenheim will expire on Jun 30, 2024 and could be offloaded at a price of €700,000 to admirers  as per his transfermarkt valuation.

He has capped 11 times by Ghana at the senior national team, the Black Stars with a goal to his name.
