Ghanaian attacking midfielder Michael Baidoo opened his season's goal scoring account in Elfsborg massive win over Halmstad BK in the Swedish Allsvenskan on Wednesday.
Elfsborg recorded a 6-1 convincing home victory over Halmstad BK to move to third place on the Swedish top-flight league log.
Baidoo levelled the score for the Yellow and Black lads with a brilliant strike on the 55th minute after the visitors had taken the lead through Viktor Granath in the first half.
On the 61st minute, the 23-year-old midfielder set-up his teammate Jeppe Okkels to extend the lead to 3-1 after Noah Soderberg had given them a 2-1, just a minute after the equalizer.
A quick brace from Jacob Ondrejka and 84th minute goal from Andre Romer aided Elfsborg to complete their demolition exercise at the Boraas Arena.
The former Vision FC star was substituted after 80 minutes while Thomas Boakye and Phil Ofosu-Ayeh also featured for the losers.
Baidoo has scored one goal and provided two assists in 6 league games for Elfsborg this season so far.
