Danish side B93 have bolstered their defensive ranks with the acquisition of Ghanaian centre-back Joseph Kinful, who joins the Østerbro-based club from Ishøj IF on a three-year deal.

The 24-year-old defender makes the move after an impressive spell in Denmark’s 2nd Division, where he featured 35 times and emerged as one of Ishøj IF’s most consistent and influential performers at the back.

Kinful is known for his physical strength, composure in possession, and sharp reading of the game, attributes that align closely with B93’s objectives as they continue their push in the NordicBet Liga.

Having relocated from Ghana to Denmark in September 2024, Kinful adapted swiftly to the demands of Scandinavian football. Prior to his European move, he tested himself at the highest domestic level in Ghana with Bechem United, gaining valuable Ghana Premier League experience that shaped his defensive maturity.

B93 believe they have landed a centre-back capable of making an immediate impact while still offering significant long-term potential as he continues his development in Copenhagen.

Kinful is expected to link up with his new teammates in the coming days and begin preparations for B93’s league encounter against Hvidovre on February 27 in the Danish Betinia Liga, where he could be in line for his first appearance in club colours.
