Ghanaian centre-back Kasim Nuhu Adams has signed a two-year contract with Finnish top-flight club Kuopion Palloseura (KuPS), joining the Veikkausliiga side as a free agent.

The 30-year-old brings extensive European experience, having played in the Swiss Super League, Bundesliga, and Spanish leagues, as well as featuring in the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League. Adams previously played for clubs including Young Boys, TSG Hoffenheim, Fortuna Düsseldorf, FC Basel, and Servette FC.

Standing at 190cm, Adams is known for his aerial strength, physical presence, and leadership at the back. He expressed delight at joining KuPS, praising the warm welcome from the team and coaching staff, and said he is eager to make an immediate impact.

KuPS sporting director Sixten Boström highlighted Adams’ ability to combine defensive solidity with ball-playing skills and leadership, describing him as a key addition to strengthen the club’s backline for the upcoming season.
