German-born Ghanaian strikers Richmond Tachie and Ragnar Ache scored in FC Kaiserslautern home win over FC Nuremberg in the German Bundesliga II on Saturday evening.
FC Kaiserslautern secured their third win of the 2023/24 season's campaign after defeating FC Nuremberg 3-1 in their match-week five at the Fritz Walter Stadion.
Tachie opened the scoring for FC Kaiserslautern with a stupendous strike in the 19th minute before Tymoteusz Puchacz doubled the score after seven minutes.
On the 30th minute, Ragnar Ache extended their lead with a well-placed header via a cross delivered by Tymoteusz Puchacz.
The visitors grabbed the consolation goal through Lukas Schleimer in the 36th minute of the game.
Richmond Tachie lasted for 59 minute before he was replaced by Kenny Prince Redondo while Ragnar Ache was substituted on the 70th minute.
Also, German-born winger Aaron Appiah was introduced into the fixture for FC Kaiserslautern after the break while Jan Gyamerah enjoyed the full throttle of the match for FC Nuremberg.
Tachie has now scored one goal and provided an assist in five game outings for FC Kaiserslautern.
