The Moroccan heavyweights have declined the opportunity to sign the experienced Ghanaian wing-forward after spending time with them for the past few weeks
Moroccan elite division side AS FAR Rabat have opted not to sign Ghanaian attacking forward Bernard Morrison, with the 30-year-old quest to reunite with his former boss Nasreddine Nabi now being quashed.
After parting company with Tanzanian top-flight outfit Young Africans SC last term, the former Ashanti Gold SC man came close to joining the Rabat-based club on a free transfer for the 2023-24 campaign.
And now, according to a report from South Africa portal Kickoff, the maverick experienced Ghanaian wing-forward is now back to his native country after seeing his dream move to the Moroccan giants hitting the rocks at the 11th hour.
"Morisson's deal in Morocco didn't go through after the club decided against signing him. He is back in Ghana currently searching for a new club," a source close to the player told Kickoff.com
Given his vast experience on the local scene with stints at Heart of Lions and Ashanti Gold SC, the bulky forward could easily secure himself a move to many suitors in the current ongoing Ghanaian transfer window.
He has so far had spells with AS Vita Club, Simba SC, Orlando Pirates, DC Motema Pembe and Young Africans SC in abroad.
